The new Ford Fiesta may not be hitting the streets of America officially until next year, but high-performance motorsport examples of the car will make their U.S. racing debut this summer when the Olsberg Motor Sport Evolution team from Sweden, managed by Andreas Eriksson, brings two new Fiesta Rallycross cars to compete in the annual Pike's Peak International Hill Climb in Colorado on July 19. | The Fiesta Movement |

The Fiesta Movement is about bringing a fuel-efficient, fun new car to the people to experience," Connie Fontaine, Ford Brand Content and Alliance Manager. "Our goal is to conduct 100,000 consumer test drives by the time that we reveal the North American production version later this year.
From May to December, five regional test drive teams representing the Fiesta Movement will travel across the country to engage consumers with the opportunity to test drive a European-specification Fiesta. The teams will visit at least 100 cities over the eight months, with a goal of 100,000 test drives overall. Mountune, Ford's official tuning brand known Stateside as Roush. It has put together a performance pack that costs around £1,600 on top of your Fiesta Zetec S (or £14,400 all in). The pack comprises a big new exhaust system and a bunch of ECU tweaks, but it won't invalidate your warranty. It will, however, add 20bhp and cut two seconds off the 0-60mph time, bringing it down to a respectable 7.9 seconds. Read More...
