Weird Noises 2013 Ford Fiesta
Hi All,
I just recently bought a 2013 Ford Fiesta Sedan a few days ago. The car runs and sounds great in high MPH situations. But i am experiencing some weird noises when accelerating from 0 and when decelerating. It sort of sounds like a rattling or grinding type noise. Is this normal for a new car of this make/model? I am just concerned because this is my first new car and i want to make sure there are no problems with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! -Joe |

It's the DCT shifting gears. '12 Focuses have a similar issue. It's sort of normal, but it's very worrysome. My Focus got an update and it has helped a lot. But I'm unsure if the Fiesta has a similar thing. Wait for the first 1000 or 2000 miles, then if it doesn't resolve, have the dealer check, and make sure they check.
