what a weekend... blizzard started saturday and ended this morning, 13.2" officially and still digging out, friggin mess.
Lesson for everyone. do not, I repeat do not, go out in the dark in a blizzard to pull your neighbor out. I saw the first snow drift and hammered it and got around the corner... the second I didn't see until it came up over my hood on the tahoe. Yeah, I was a tad stuck in more ways than one.
So another neighbor came out and pulled him out, he came around and pulled me out, we all parked and said screw this crap and watched others get stuck.
I live on the edge of town where it's pretty open so it drifts pretty bad.
And what the hell is it with people in minivans thinking the things are invincible? I pulled so many of the *************************es out from the same spot (ok, 3. then I quit and left them fend for themselves). they where like moths to a light bulb... the same damn spot.

What was funny is we have a complete ass that plows our street, never very good mind you, and everyone complains but nothing is done. Well, karma struck the sob today while several neighbors stood and watched, yet did nothing, and he left a nice red trail for 2 1/2 blocks from a broken hydrolic line until he came to a dead stop. He was po'd, yet no one gave a crap. friend of mine said a few of them got together at the house right in front of where he broke down and sat in the living room and had coffee as the watched him lay in the snow changing the line...lol
This guy never puts his blade all the way down always leaving at least an inch of snow on the road. supposed to be cleaned curb to curb, lucky if he gets within 4' of either one. and don't even get me started on corners. The guy seriously hasn't a clue what reverse is.
