After wanting to build a gooseneck trailer for my Trac, I'm considering grafting a ranger bed to my Trac body and frame, giving me a larger bed, but at the cost of lengthening my wheelbase an extra 12 inches at least. Great for on road traveling, but bad for offroad recovery duties...

That would be kinda cool. The body lines may be tricky, but cool nonetheless.

That sounds cool the ranger bed on sport trac.I think I want one as well. That was the big complaint I had was to pull into a parking spot with the Superduty you would have to back up and squeeze into a spot. The ranger whipped right in no issue.

Since I did a ranger front clip swap, the front Trac fender flare body line won't be there, its replaced with the pocket style flare from the stock 06 ranger, and if I did the bed swap, the rear fenders would get the same treatment, if not all the fenders getting a cutout pocket style flare. The only tricky part would be matching the shape of the rear of the cab. The ranger is basically flat and vertical, the Trac is rounded. But I got an idea for that as well...
